.....On Saturday, July 16th, alumni from all classes who attended Neumann High School (from 1920 through 1979) assembled for a Thanksgiving Mass at the Church of St. Peter and Paul in Williamsville. The celebrant and homilist was Fr. Louie Lougen, OMI, a graduate of Neumann and presently the Provincial of the American Province of the Oblates of Mary Immaculate. Concelebrating were Fr. Gene Tremblay, OMI, a member of the faculty in the late 70's and presently a professor at D'Youville College in Buffalo and Msgr. Robert Zapfel (class of 70'), currently pastor of St. Leo the Great parish in Amherst.
.
.....Many hundreds of Neumann Alumni participated in both the Mass and the reception that followed at the nearby residence and grounds of the Sisters of St. Francis/St. Mary of the Angels. Good food and leisurely reminiscences were the order of the afternoon. An updated (2005) Alumni directory was given to each pariticipant. Below is a photo gallery of the festivities.
